Hudson 18 month update

Hudson turned 18 months on the 14th o fAug I know I am a little behind but better late than never I say. We went in for his well baby check up and here are the results. He is now 32inches tall 50% and weighs 29lbs 70% and his head is in the 65%. Yeah for Hudson.
Now for the bragging rights. If you have ever spent some time with Hudson you know that he is pretty independent, he loves to climb give hugs but most of all play ball. He is an excellent kicker and thrower these days.
Just about everyday when dad comes home Hudson and daddy have yo play kick back or throw and on some days he wants to do both. I wish we could take credit for his athletic skills but he is pretty self motivated. It is pretty funny because when he gets tired he gets upset at himself when he makes a bad pass or misses the ball.
We have had several occasions where he will end up crying because he has worked himself up over missing the ball. That is when mom steps in and calls it a night. Then the real tears come. He proceeded to say more more more sometimes I give in but most of the time this leads to more crying due to his frustration. All and all he is quite the athlete already. He even had his timing down when he kicks the ball(most times). He also throws pretty hard, h as never been clocked but all I know is that it hurts pretty bad when he throws a ball and it his you on the head(or any where for that matter).
He is a much better athlete than a talker but we have been working more on his vocabulary lately. Hudson has been saying quite a bit, he still talks in his own language but recently he has pick up quite a few words, sounds and phrases.
He says mom, dad, pa-pa, where is it( where'st), thank you(no please and sorry but we are working on that), ball, baloon, moon, spoon, plate, more, tree, show, car, pig, up, ut-oah, wow, get down, baby, cow (actually he says moo....cow), Nah ma (for gramara)Lindsy, Larin, Lonya, Jeremy, Cayden, Josh, grandma, grandpa(it kinda sounds like pa-pa, but it is slightly unique), we are working on Jordan, Kelli, Nate, Joey Carter, and Adilay...he does say Pri(for his new cousin Capri),stop, yeah(not yes), No(boy does he know No) chair etc. I'm sure I have left a few out.
Now for the funny part when you ask him what the animals say he answers back...
Cow- "Moo...cow"
Dog "whoof, whoof"
Bear "beahm"
pig "piig"
cat "mahooow"
Turtle "tur-tul"
monkey "ah-ah-ah"
camel "phoot, phoot" daddy loves that one
fish "fisssh"
horse "naah"
gorilla "aaah" while pounding on his chest
sheep "baah"
Goat "bahhhh"it is kind of a scary noise
Lion "rahr"
tiger " "same as lion
owl "hoo"
elephant "vooh" while raising his arm like a trunk"
Car "rum, rum"
cho-cho "cho-chooh"
bunny "hop, hop"

And if he gets tired or just doesn't want to play he shakes his head and says no. It is pretty cute to play with this sweet boy of ours. He is so full of life and is such a happy guy most of the time. He also sleeps well(9:30-7:30ish) and for the most part naps pretty well 2-3hrs. He is eating a lot of different kinds of foods. he was pretty pick about fruit for a while but in the past week or so he had been a lot better. He'll eat strawberries, grapes, water melon, honeydew, apples, tomato's (he loves to eat them like an apple). He also eats carrots, sugar snap peas, peas, corn, green beans, but he won't touch potato's unless they are french fried. Like I said he is a good eater.
Now when you want to take a picture and you say to Hudson "say cheese" he gives you this super silly cheesy smile, like this.
This is the lowdown on Hudson as of now...
