Aloha all,
So if you haven't guessed we went to Hawaii. It was a great trip and want to thank everyone for all the great memories. We arrived on Friday Nov 7th and stayed at a house on the north shore until the next Thursday. Then half of our group went to Kawaii while Chad Hudson and I hung out with our friends Ryan and Lizzy and family Jordan, Lindsey and Adilay(5 weeks at the time).
Hudson was quite the trooper on the plain ride. He slept twice, ate breakfast and lunch and played the rest of the 5.5 hours. He did not even cry once!!!! We couldn't have asked for a better flight over. On our way home we took the red eye. I was a little nervous about this flight but once again our super baby pulled through. He slept most of the flight home. Although he did have a 30 minute squawking fest at 3:30am. I'm sure the people around us were sure glad we brought a 8 month old on the plane...
Once we arrived we were greeted by Jordan, Lindsey and five week old Adilay Elizabeth Graves. She is quite a little peanut. From the airport it was to the rental car then straight to Costco to pick up all the food we might need for the week. Then it was off to the north shore where our house is. It is right up from Sharks Cove (yes we have been snorkeling). We had a fabulous time in Hawaii.
We had many outings like going shopping at Waikiki, snorkeling at sharks cove, visiting waiamaya beach, sunset, pipeline, and one of my favorites "turtle beach (it is the peach they film lost at). We also spent a day at the PCC that was a blast though Hudson was quite scared of the yelling and chanting that went with the different countries. He would cry so after visiting Somoa, and Tongua, Chad and I decided to walk around the grounds. It was beautiful there. Later that night we went to the Luau that was also fun. Another day we visited the USS Arizona that was neat (I hadn't done that before). Most went through a session at the Temple along with lots of other fun stuff. We did get to motzimotos twice that made me happy.
Then we spent a night with Ryan and Lizzy over in the old military housing. It was so good to spend time with them. Hudson took a liking to them right off especially Ryan. That was pretty fun to see. On the day and a half that we had with them they took us to the way-word side of the Island over off of H3. It was beautiful we got to stop and a few different look outs and then we stopped at the most beautiful beach. It is a private military beach that is breath taking. It has the powdery cream sand and the teal blue water that you see on all the post cards for Hawaii.
We had such a great time. Then on our last day and a half we got to visit with Jordan, Lindsey and Adilay. It was so great seeing them we miss them so much.
So as you can tell we had such a great time.
